First imagined in 1973, the Impossible Dream Thrift Store received its name after naysayers believed it was an "impossible dream" that would never last. After more than 40 years we are happy to see the store is still providing shoppers the best deals in town, while making those "impossible" dreams, possible.
At Impossible Dream, we like to say "every good deal is a good deed" because every purchase helps Urban Mission programs to be successful. With a vast variety of new and gently used items and a two-level shopping area, the thrift store is one of the largest in Jefferson County. The store carries an ever-changing inventory of clothing, furniture, home decor and other treasures.
